Phil, obviously can't go back to SHIELD, he's been burned and dumped in some shitty little town, with a new name and new history and everything. One night he meets a strong, yet heartbroken blond (who was forced to watch her family burn and break by a yellow-eyed-demon. then he dumped her in the small little town with magic preventing her from speaking about her past) at the bar (me thinks they bond over Pepper being awesome on the news. Mary would raise her drink to female powerhouse and crack wise about stomping in Jimmy Choos. Phil would correct her on the shoes and confess to having an inappropriate crush on Ms Potts. Mary wouldn't blame him). They strike up a beautiful friendship and save the world. Cue research parties, gun appreciation and scary efficiency.

ETA: Upon further reflection, I think this is my brain attempting to recuperate from the platonic Craig!Bond+Dench!M feels I am having. Phil/Mary is like exactly the same. Except that there's less of an age difference. and more ghosts. or aliens. possibly switched head of agency/spy roles too.

But I needed to read the arcs related to the Infinity Gauntlet! (Which are awesome BTW. and the two issue Thanos Quest? BRILLIANT.) It's for this story I'm trying to write. It's an Avengers/Supernatural crossover. Also is Bruce/always-a-girl!Dean. yeaahhhh. I'm working on it for avengers_xbb. Not sure if it will be done. Uh, I'll have 5000 words by the rough draft due date, but maybe not an end. or a middle :/

What I am doing, is making a fanmix for the Bruce/always-a-girl!Dean pairing. waywardmixes round 8 is 'rare pairs' so yeah. there you go. Also it's already done. it was done in less than a day :P

I had this dream the other night in which John Winchester was an Immortal. Like Highlander Immortal. You know, can't stay dead unless his head is chopped off kind of Immortal. In it he was AT LEAST 2000 years old. And Roman. And at some point had fought a dragon and was later declared a saint for his efforts.
