Basically Rory and Methos being awesome. Rory owes Methos a favor, for ‘that thing with the lions’. Methos has no recollection of this, of course, because it happened in the plastic!Rory timeline. Methos snarks and dies and lives and bashes things with swords. Rory is secretly!BAMF and takes a phone call from his wife in the middle of the battle. River flirts with Duncan, Rory tries to ground his daughter. Joe despairs for the human race.

They blow up the bad guys.

my god. I want this. I can't pull off the dialouge, but I want to write this.

I want some Phil Coulson/Mary Winchester. Cause these two are my most absolute favorite NOT!DEAD!HEADCANON, secretly badasses. Ever.

Phil, obviously can't go back to SHIELD, he's been burned and dumped in some shitty little town, with a new name and new history and everything. One night he meets a strong, yet heartbroken blond (who was forced to watch her family burn and break by a yellow-eyed-demon. then he dumped her in the small little town with magic preventing her from speaking about her past) at the bar (me thinks they bond over Pepper being awesome on the news. Mary would raise her drink to female powerhouse and crack wise about stomping in Jimmy Choos. Phil would correct her on the shoes and confess to having an inappropriate crush on Ms Potts. Mary wouldn't blame him). They strike up a beautiful friendship and save the world. Cue research parties, gun appreciation and scary efficiency.

ETA: Upon further reflection, I think this is my brain attempting to recuperate from the platonic Craig!Bond+Dench!M feels I am having. Phil/Mary is like exactly the same. Except that there's less of an age difference. and more ghosts. or aliens. possibly switched head of agency/spy roles too.

yeaaaah. I don't know about Bond/Q thing happening over in the Skyfall section. I don't really want that. I WANT BOND & M PLATONIC LIFE PALS OKAY. I just want the loyalty, and the spies, and the awesome old lady and her puppy (no seriously, I have this scene in my head of it being like... christmas or something and M visiting her children yes, children are canon. so is the husband bed partner and she ducks out to get some air, because she loves her kids, but really she's not that much of homebody, and then *bamf* Bond is there and he's taken out this assassin. and M is all kinda flummoxed but at the same time is like 'I told you not to break into my home again'. Bond is all false contrite and is like 'but it's not your house it's your daughter's!' and M is annoyed. But then out comes one of the daughters, and Bond has to hid his gun behind his back and put on his 'company' face and she has the ovaries to invite this crazy guy who works with her Mum into the house because he looks lonely. M is all 'we never speak of this again'. and everyone has nog.), and forcing technology to do things it should. No Cold War shit. No pretty boy on boy. I don't want to come out of the movie wanting this, okay?
