Movie: Mulan (1998, Disney) it's a movie based-on-a-possibly-true-legend of a young woman who disguises herself as a man to take her father's place in the war. It's set in China, with great, sweeping, animated vistas. The story is wonderful - all about family and honor and figuring out who you really are. The music is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Eddie Murphy is hilarious as Mushu, the dragon. Plus! Canon gender bending! Which, if it's possible to have *plot* kinks, gender bending is one of mine (the other being time travel).

So what follows is a fanworks round up. A lot of artwork gets created for this movie. Mulan, afterall, is nominally a Disney Princess. Fic, eh, not so much. But Yuletide can be a good place for these. Hope you enjoy.
