Once Upon a time 28 years ago, in a land of magic and fairy tales, an Evil Queen cursed her enemies, Snow White and Prince Charming. The whole land was transported to the 'real world' - a land without magic. None but the Queen, now Mayor of a sleepy little town trapped in time, remember where they came from. But all curses can be broken. And it was foretold that the daughter of Snow & Charming will break the curse in her 28th year. And guess who just arrived in town?

Emma Swan That baby of Snow & Charming. The unwilling Savior. She hasn't had an easy life. Sent through to our world momments after being born, she was raised in the foster system. 10 years ago she gave birth to a baby boy. And gave him up for adoption. When he comes back into her life, asking for help to break the curse, she puts on her big girl pants and starts growing up.	Henry Mills Emma's son. Given up 10 years ago and adopted by Regina. He's a stubborn little boy. His book of fairy tales convinces him that the town is full of characters who don't remember who they are. So he sets out to find his birth mother and brings her back to break the curse. Quite adorable actually.	Regina Mills Once the Evil Queen, now Madame Mayor of Storybrooke. She's bitter about Emma's reappearance in Henry's life. Actually she's bitter about most things. She lords her power over the residents of Storybrooke, preventing everyone from their Happily Ever After, while desperately trying to hold on to hers.
