Been SO sick the last week. Like that kinda cold where you can't do anything but take drugs to knock you out. And when I felt good enough to not have to sleep, I still didn't have enough OOMPF to do anything but clear out social media inboxes.

For those of you who have been on LJ forever, you remember the Great LJ strikethrough of 2007? For those of you who don't frequent tumblr, IT'S COMING AGAIN.

As I understand it: Yahoo/Tumblr CEO has decided that tumblr will become a video platform. As a result, they've change the post width from 500px to 540px. Of course everything looks wierd. Because all those beautiful posts of graphics or gifs made at 500px are stretched to 540px. I'm even hearing that if you upload at 540px, tumblr resizes it to 500px and then DISPLAYS at 540px. Wonky.

So reactions I've seen:
1. ABORT. LEAVE TUMBLR NOW.
2. STRIKE. ON THIS DAY WE WILL NOT USE TUMBLR.
3. KEEP USING. SIGN THIS PETITION. FILE A COMPLAINT. ETC.
4. some combination of the above.

And then there's me who just sits back and laughs. And wonder's what's coming next for fandom?
